MY LIFE IN B&W - Part I

My own little B&W project! Little things around me that makes my daily life!   That is right by my bed (which is in the living room, remember small tiny house!). I have my calendar right there, a few bric-brac on the walls and Galo's guitar, always somewhere nearby!   We had Zoila write that sign for the table: "I speak French while at the table", as an effort to implement our rule "Only French at home, especially when we are eating all together." This rule is not very well welcome, as you can see from the Black skull sticker in the middle of the sign. But we try!   One day, playing UNO with Antonio.   Barnum Park, "our" park, a couple of blocks from home.    Funny little guy!   Our bus stop! Where our days start and end, every day!   Antonio found this really fun toy at the thrift store. It keeps its balance, here on the broken branch of a tree. February 2018: I LOVE YOU!

Welcome February! After the frenzy of the holidays and the month of January, it was time to go back to some kind of more regulated learning! As Zoila's been working on her writing, Antonio is focusing on his reading. Here, he is making sentences with words he already knows. Kids have started a small business, "The Little Boutique". You can find out more here , in this blog Emilie is writing. They (I help) create cards, crafts and jewelry special occasions like Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day...and they sell them. If you're interested in their little business, let us know and we'll send you more info! The February sales went to their Polaroid Instant Camara fund!  Emilie and Zoila are selling their Valentine's Day products by the Capoeira Studio during First Friday in Santa Fe Art District, Denver.
