And it happened, Emilie sprained her ankle during the Granny show! 6 weeks of recovery and the end of the performance for her after the 4th show. Very sad and disappointed but she focused on her healing like a pro!

GRANNY DANCES TO A HOLIDAY DRUM 2018
For the second year, we are blessed to be part of this amazing Holiday performance. Last year Emilie was in the Junior Youth Ensemble. This year, she was in the Youth Ensemble (Teens), while Zoila and Antonio auditioned to be part of the children's ensemble. One month of daily rehearsals, 2 dress rehearsals and 10 shows! Fantastic adventure for our three children and for us parents to follow them in this growing experience. Galo got to play bartender during the shows, and I got to sell lots of my Holiday cards!
Here are some of our best shots (among over 1000 photos taken during that time!)

After dress rehearsal, some of the kids!

Do you need a drink?

My two loves.

A professional shot by Stan Obert. Emilie is in the back holding the flag during the Kwanzaa scene.

Some of my cards and Zoila's mini travel toys. She sold 6 or 7 of them!
